Much like Pou, My Chu also has bootleg games and clones, which can be found here. Bubble and Fairy Puff also originated this way. The live wallpaper also came with a companion app which rewards the player with items after playing minigames. The character originated as a live wallpaper for desktop and Android devices, which in turn is based on a digital artwork by the creator. Bubble, a small pink character (in older versions, a light blue character named Fairy Puff) who frequently interacts with the player's Chu, debuts in the second game. The player must collect bunnies and stickers which are randomly given in order to access certain items, which is a unique feature. Chu has a similar appearance and name to My Boo, however, the virtual pet character is green instead of blue. My Chu is a series of two virtual pet apps created by Latvian digital artist Apofiss.
